Do I need a referral from my doctor to start physical therapy?

No, Maryland is a “direct access” state, meaning you do not need a referral, however, you should check with your insurance to see if they require one in order to reimburse you your out-of-network benefits.

Who do you help?

We help people of any age, whether active or inactive, male or female, without using pain medications, injections, or surgery. We believe in assessing you from head to toe to seek the ROOT cause of your pain, which may not be where you’re hurting. How long does a physical therapy session last?

The initial evaluation is 90 minutes and includes a review of your medical history, extensive evaluation, and treatment. Follow-up appointments range in time from 60 to 90 minutes.

Do you take insurance?

Vidrine Integrative Physical Therapy currently is not an in-network insurance provider — we are an “out-of- network” provider and will provide you with an invoice (superbill) that has all the information you need to submit to your insurance company. This includes both your diagnostic and treatment codes. That said, our focus is on providing exceptional care without the complexities often associated with insurance. Our priority is your well-being, and we are committed to crafting personalized treatment plans to support you on your journey to good health.

Why use my “out-of-network” benefits for physical therapy?

Physical therapy visits typically cost between $150-$250 even after paying your copay and insurance companies begin providing coverage once your deductible has been met. Specialized physical therapy sessions, such as with Vidrine Physical Therapy, are one-on-one and specific to treating the root of your condition, so you don’t need to attend as frequently, thus saving multiple co-pays.

Does Vidrine Integrative Physical Therapy take Medicare?

We do not participate with Medicare. You may see Leigh Ann Vidrine, PT for a wellness or maintenance program. Your invoice will state, “Wellness and maintenance.” *Please see our letter of clarification regarding Medicare status.

How much will my insurance company reimburse me?

Your reimbursement depends on your particular plan with your particular insurance company. Call the member information number on the back of your insurance card to find out/know your out-of-network benefits.

Do you treat women’s health?

Yes, we treat women through all phases of life. We treat pelvic floor weakness, leakage, pain, pregnancy, post-partum, menopausal symptoms/issues.

What is your no show/cancellation policy?

No-show appointments are subject to a $75 fee. We require 24 hr notice for cancellations or a charge of $50 will be required. Please do not hesitate to contact us regarding this policy.

Can I use my FSA/HSA?

Yes, physical therapy is an eligible service with Flexible Spending or Health Savings Accounts. Check your specific policy for more information.
